The dance floor is made for dancing, So let’s keep it that way! If you wish to chat, please step off the floor to avoid disturbing others and prevent accidents.
Drinks can spill and make the dance floor slippery and dangerous. To avoid risks, please keep beverages on a table outside the dance area.
Stay within your dance bubble to move safely and ensure everyone’s comfort. For leaders, be mindful of your surroundings to protect your partner during complex moves or large steps.
If you bump into someone, don’t forget to apologize – a small word can make a big difference.

On a dance floor, acrobatics have no place. Save them for performances and competitions. Keep the floor a danger-free zone. Before attempting dips or other moves requiring physical effort with a new partner, always ask for their consent. They may not be able to perform the move and could risk injury.
Invite your partner respectfully by extending your hand. Respect their personal space and be mindful of their comfort level. Avoid any aggressiveness and never force a movement if your partner feels uncomfortable. Adjust your posture: do not hold your partner too closely if their body language suggests a more relaxed or open-hold position.
Dance with different partners, especially beginners. If you’re too tired or have declined an invitation, make sure to take a break and wait for the next song before returning to the floor. If you said, “next time,” be sure to keep your promise. Saying “no thank you” is always acceptable, especially when done kindly with a smile.
It is your responsibility to keep yourself and other dancers in your community safe. If you witness any harassment or any undesirable behavior, do not hesitate to contact the organizers immediately or call security.
